Black and Blue Salvia

Salvia guaranitica
"The Salvia Black and Blue, `Salvia guaranitica,' is a tall and attractive plant that can reach two to three feet with its upright growth habit. The blooms are nearly an inch in size, bi-colored and bloom both in the spring and the fall. This selection is different from the species in that the calyx is dark black instead of the more common green. This eye catching plant offers abundant deep cobalt blue flowers that are tubular in shape. A favorite of hummingbirds, these plants are hardy to fifteen degrees."
