Cherry Bomb Hot Peppers

Capsicum annuum

"The Hot Pepper Cherry Bomb, `Capsicum annuum,' produces up to fifty percent more fruits than open pollinated types. The peppers are round and have thick walls, which allow for more absorption of pickle brine. This is the variety to grow for homemade pickled peppers. They should be planted in average garden soil with sufficient organic matter. Peppers will use quite a bit of water, but will prefer to be watered deeply and not very often. Gloves should be worn at all times while harvesting, and hands should be washed immediately after. The peppers should be harvested when the begin to turn from green to red."
