Lady Lavender Herb

Lavandula angustifolia 'Lady'
"The Lady Lavender, `Lavandula angustifolia Land,' grows much faster than any other varieties. Its great scent and beautiful blooms make it perfect for any garden. This is a dwarf cultivar of Lavandula angustifolia, and is a twelve inch plant with compact violet blooms on four to six inch stems. Following the bloom, the plant can be sheared to promote extra flowering. Lady Lavender should be planted in early spring as soon as the soil can be worked or in late fall. This beautiful plant can be used as a short hedge, in a edging or rock garden, and can also be grown in pots. They are also used in sachets and pot pourri."
