Splash Licorice

Helichrysum petiolare

"The Licorice Splash, `Helichrysum petiolare,' is a very easy plant to grow, and requires very little fertilizer. This plant has evenly variegated pale green and white leaves, and will provide exceptional beauty with extremely minimal care. This compact grower has fine foliage, and is especially useful in mixed containers, due to its outward growth habit. This will often make a container appear to be larger than it actually is. Licorice plants typically to best in well drained soils, usually in beds or containers. The small flowers produced by Splash Licorice plants are insignificant, and can be removed without any hindering effect on the plant. In zones nine through eleven, Splash Licorice can be used as a perennial."
