Victoria Blue Salvia

Salvia farinacea

"The Salvia Victoria Blue, `Salvia farinacea,' is a compact plant. This later flowering Salvia will continue blooming for a very extended period. The intense deep blue flowers make it a great selection for the centerpiece of any container, as well as in mass plantings in rows as a backdrop for other shorter plants. Also known as Mealy-Cup Sage, the flowers and stems are fuzzy. The deep blue flower spikes bloom all summer long, and last until the first frost. The bluish green leaves are the perfect backdrop for the flower spikes. Deadheading may be helpful to insure an autumn re-bloom."
