White Star Daisy

Argyranthemum frutescens

"The Daisy Vanilla White Star, `Argyranthemum frutescens,' is a Proven Selections plant that produces large white flowers with attractive golden yellow eyes from spring right through fall. The fast growth and compact, mounding habit make these flowers perfect for baskets and borders. Daisies require a full sun location in fertile, well drained soil and should be kept well watered in the summer months. The foliage is very aromatic when bruised. The spent flowers should be deadheaded on these tight, bushy plants. Perennial in zones nine through eleven, these flowers are commonly grown as annuals in colder climates."
